- In the Wwise toolbar Navigate to: Project > Project Settings > General tab
Under Platforms, you will see a list of all platforms currently used in the project. - In the Max Voice Instances Column you will see a value of 256 for all platforms listed.
This means up to 256 voices can play at any one time per platform
– TIP: It is a good idea at the start of a project to leave this cap to 256 for all platforms.
When final mix of the game is in progress, this value can be decreased to memory restrictions if needed per individual platforms
- If you know one of the platforms is low on audio memory usage, change the platform value to 128, 64 or even 32.
